my baby is 2!

i can't believe my sweet kamdyn is already 2 years old!  she is such a joy to have in our lives and we are SO grateful for her!  here are just a couple shots from her 2 year pictures.  we had fun!

lara is as beautiful as ever!  i always love photographing and editing her pictures because she is so gorgeous!  little baby girl hayden elizabeth will be here in just a couple of months!  we are so thrilled and can't wait to meet her!  kamdyn & kyler will be so excited to have a cousin on this side of the family!  be sure to check back for newborn pictures when she comes into this world!

i really can't wait to get my new blog launched - the pictures on blogger just do not do justice to the way i see them on my huge screen. anyway - i promised ben & meredith i would post a couple more pics for a special sneak peek since we have to reschedule their preview session. i can't wait for them to come see the rest! i had so much fun editing this shoot, not only b/c they were such a fun couple to work with but because of the location. it's amazing how differently i want to do my post processing, depending on the environment. meredith - i hope you like these!

we had the BEST time at this shoot! ben had seen this OLD abandoned house out near where they live and it ended up being a lot bigger than i had imagined. it had a lot to offer and a lot to explore. i can't wait to finish editing this shoot.

i really can't believe she's six months old! i took these in her bedroom last week while kamdyn was at school. she is such a happy, content baby. and beautiful, of course!

i had the great privilege to photograph the simmonds family, who happen to be our very close friends! little baby girl number 3 will be joining them in just a couple of short weeks! we can't wait to meet her.

how adorable is this? nate is two and a half and got this awesome super hero cape for christmas. he loved wearing it and doing "from infinity and beyond!" love him! he was my first booking for the "america's cutest kid" contest. i'll post more about voting soon!

We’re looking for cute children ages 18 months to 14 years old to model for a portrait to be entered into the contest.

$25 entrance fee, which includes a 30 minute model session and one image submitted to the national gallery.

Finalists will be determined by online votes. Anyone may vote. Each vote is $1, and all proceeds from votes benefit the non-profit

serving our country

i have been meaning to post some photos from this shoot for a couple of weeks now. it was so hard to choose because i really love these. my brother in law will be serving our country in iraq this year. we wanted to get some family pictures before he left. please keep him in your prayers while he is overseas and my sister and her kids while they are missing him. let's not forget that there are hundreds of soldiers away from their families during christmas, fighting for us. thank you to ken and to all the military and their families.
