engaged!

bruce & jen are getting married! it was so fun to take these pictures at this little park in dallas where they got engaged. very special!

sweet family

it was so fun to finally meet this family! they won a free photo session at a school fund raiser and we have been trying to schedule for months! they were such troopers...bearing the HEAT of texas!

baby preston

so i finally made it to lubbock to meet baby preston! i can't believe he is already 10 weeks old! nathan is such a great big brother and it is so neat to see them together! i haven't had time to work on the entire photo session yet, but here is one of my faves from first glance.

abby & kendal

look at these two cuties! abby is 12 months and kendal is 24 months. they are cousins and both have beautiful blue eyes and blonde hair that is to die for!

my daughter and i were outside playing earlier this week and her big blue eyes just kept captivating me! i had to run in and get my camera and i'm glad i did!

my daddy is a pilot

things do not always going according to plan! the point of this shoot was to get austin & ken together in their flight suits with the c-130's. we had to take the opportunity when ken was in town (which is rare since he's always flying) and the weather happened to be drizzly and extremely overcast. we were on an active runway, which really limited where we could go and we also had very little time. all that to say, we did not get the shots we wanted, but still had fun and hopefully we'll get another chance to capture austin and daddy in their flight suits with the airplanes.
